This project stands on a firm foundation, forged by an unstoppable team: diverse, solid, and deeply passionate. Professionals, educators, and artists who not only master their craft but live it with soul, with purpose. They are the architects of invisible bridges, the sowers of ideas that bloom in every corner, the guardians of an art that is much more than a form of expression: it is a tool for transformation, belonging, and healing. Their talent is no accident; it is born of a burning vocation, a clear vision, and an unshakable commitment to change and community.

At La Casa de la Cultura, every activity is a song of resistance, unity, and love; every artistic expression is an embrace that welcomes diversity; and every community finds a refuge where its history, its voice, and its creativity are not only heard but bloom without boundaries or limits.

Keudis Sanchez

COO & C0-Founder

Multidisciplinary Artivist, Cultural Catalyst and Curator, Weaver of Afro-Indigenous Heritage

Born in Venezuela—where culture and drums echo as ancestral heartbeats and dance is a living memory of the soul—he now plants those memories through art in Charlotte, North Carolina. A multidisciplinary artivist and Afro-Indigenous cultural curator, he serves as a catalyst for experiences that connect past and present, ritual and contemporary expression.

As co-founder of La Casa de la Cultura, he has created a space of convergence where teaching, tradition, and visual arts intermingle with technology to preserve and project diasporic expressions. His work spans dance, music, and visual arts integrated with technological innovation, such as augmented reality, transforming art into a powerful tool for intercultural connection.

A graduate in Visual Arts, his work has been featured in renowned exhibitions such as Men of Change, State of the Arts, and many more, exploring Afro-Indigenous identity through an experimental and symbolic lens. His artistic process is also a continuous journey of learning—constantly evolving as a musician, dancer, and creator of new forms of expression.

He is a member of Son de Pueblos, a musical and folkloric group that revives the rhythms of the Caribbean and his Afro-Venezuelan homeland. Keudis also co-directs Kandake & Cacao, an artistic collective that fuses the ancestral with the contemporary to create works that heal, celebrate, and reconnect communities with their heritage.
